The route from Mumbai to Alibaug is approximately 100 kilometers, and it takes around 3 hours to reach our destination.

Our first stop along the way was the iconic Kamat's Restaurant on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Known for its delectable South Indian cuisine, we indulged in fluffy idlis, crispy dosas, and aromatic filter coffee, energizing ourselves for the scenic drive ahead. Oldest eatery chain of the state, serving vegetarian meals, snacks, and beverages, good for quick stops and breakfast meals.

Next on our itinerary was Varsoli Beach, a hidden gem known for its pristine beauty. The monsoon showers added a magical touch to the surroundings, creating a refreshing ambiance. We strolled along the shoreline, enjoyed the cool breeze, and relished the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea.
Afternoon
Explore the historic Janjira Fort, located near the coastal town of Murud. Take a boat ride from the shores of Alibaug to reach this magnificent sea fort. Discover the intriguing architecture, learn about its fascinating history, and marvel at the panoramic views of the Arabian Sea from atop the fort. Don't forget to capture some memorable photos during your visit.
Evening
-To experience the local culture and indulge in some shopping, we visited the vibrant Alibaug Market. The market offered a plethora of traditional artifacts, handmade crafts, and local delicacies. We couldn't resist exploring the stalls, picking up souvenirs, and savoring the flavors of authentic Konkan cuisine.
